Is there a gas fitter who can donate a few hours in Houston?
Ji-woo has a burst pipe behind the wall, and can't afford a licensed gas fitter to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In August an inspector told me that my home has a burst pipe behind the wall. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $2,450 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $240.
The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Sending good thoughts, Ji-woo. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Blessings.
Thinking of you and your family. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 15 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
