I coordinate donations at Pioneer Refugee Centre in London. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in London, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Pioneer Refugee Centre on Wednesday between 11am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Pioneer Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Wishing you peace. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. After 30 years in social work I know how hard it is to ask for anything.

    • Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money

      • Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't give up. Love from Guarulhos.
