House fire that spread across the block in London: help the Harbor neighborhood rebuild
Neighbors in the Harbor neighborhood are rebuilding after the house fire that spread across the block; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.
🇬🇧 London, England, United KingdomPosted Oct 1, 20262,563 views
The house fire that spread across the block hit the Harbor neighborhood on 20 September. My home was one of 62 damaged, and 13 families are still in temporary shelter at the local school gym.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $6,450 goes:
• Clean water and purification supplies: $960
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $1,100
• Roofing sheets and timber: $2,750
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,640
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Ezra?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about clean water and purification supplies, advice is welcome too.
Best of luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless
