Keep a roof over Antônio's head in Guarulhos
A cut in working hours left Antônio short on rent for 4 months; help us stay in our home.

When the call centre closed in August, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Tuesday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $1,200.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Rent arrears (4 months): $880
• Late fees and court costs: $115
• Utilities in arrears: $40
• First month of rent as a buffer: $165
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

So sorry you're going through this, Antônio. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
