I make my living with my food truck. 5 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $150 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $20
• Labor charges: $30
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $100
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Thank you all. We're at 58% now ($88). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward engine head gasket replacement.
Small update. $20 so far, I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.

Hang in there. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Khulna.
