Ximena was diagnosed with kidney cancer in August. The oncology team at the Fresno Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Ximena is 49, worked as a nurse until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Fresno Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $2,200 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $630 • Household costs while unable to work: $990 • Transport to the Fresno Oncology Institute: $580 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Wesley

        • Hope it all works out, Wesley. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 15 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.

          • rooting for you, Wesley. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Sent it to 36 people at work.
