Join the Refugee Welcome Picnic: Sasithorn needs helpers on Monday
Our small team in Khon Kaen is running the Refugee Welcome Picnic and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.

Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 360 neighbors in Khon Kaen. I help organize it with 7 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending strength. Great idea, hope you get there. We're a small family in Anaheim but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Khon Kaen.
Keep going. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Kinondoni.
Wishing you peace. Shared this with my family. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best.
Shared it with a few friends. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care
Keep going. This could happen to any of us. Take care.
thinking of you. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Aurora
Sending good thoughts. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day!
Wishing you peace. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I hope July is when things finally get easier. Blessings.
Hang in there, Sasithorn. Your post was clear and honest. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day
Wishing you the best, Sasithorn. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless!
Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Khon Kaen.
Praying for you, Sasithorn. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Sent it to 12 people at work.
More neighborhoods should do this. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Gulu.
