Help Woo-jin move out of an unsafe apartment this Saturday
Moving day on Saturday: we need anyone with a van and ideally a van.
🇰🇷 Seoul, Seoul, South Korea1,065 views
After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Seoul, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you for reading my story.

Good luck. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Thinking of Seoul.
Sending good thoughts. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it!
Your post was clear and honest. Put this on a community board in Johannesburg this morning.
I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.

Hope things get better soon, Woo-jin. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.

Wishing you the best. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.

Thinking of you and your family. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Sending good thoughts, Woo-jin. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together. Love from Cairo
