Lauren passed away on 26 June; we're raising $5,250 for a respectful funeral in Los Angeles.

Lauren, my mother, passed away on 26 June after a sudden heart attack. She was 84 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $5,250 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 11 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Lauren to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $5,250 goes:
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,350
• Funeral home services and casket: $3,650
• Transport of the deceased: $250
