Nazia's thyroid cancer treatment fund
Supporting Nazia through thyroid cancer: medication, transport to Quetta Cancer Centre, and living costs while She can't work.
🇵🇰 87012, Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan1,086 views
Nazia was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at Quetta Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Nazia is 30, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Quetta Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $400 goes:
• Transport to Quetta Cancer Centre: $95
• Household costs while unable to work: $110
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $95
• Scans and lab work: $100
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
- Saad

Keep going, Saad. I hope things turn around soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from New Orleans
Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in Mumbai this morning. All the best.
