Sosina was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in March. The oncology team at Bahir Dar University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Sosina is 43, worked as a tailor until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bahir Dar University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
