Home care fund for Yinka in Abuja
Help Yinka stay in his own home with six months of part-time care.
🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria473 views
I'm caring for my father, who's 92. After a heart attack Yinka can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Yinka desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Yinka worked all of his life as a nurse, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $850 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $85
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $90
• Part-time carer (six months): $675
Thank you for reading my story.

Stay strong, Usman. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My husband and I read this together. All the best.
So sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
