Help Priya through 8 rounds of treatment for thyroid cancer
8 rounds of treatment are planned at East London Regional Medical Center; we are asking for help with the costs insurance does not cover.

Priya was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in March. The oncology team at East London Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Priya is 27, worked as a shop owner until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to East London Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Transport to East London Regional Medical Center: $260
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,800
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $190

Sure. The biggest one is transport to East London Regional Medical Center, $260. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks, that means a lot.
