Help Nicole restart a small grocery stall in Cebu City after floodwater
A small grocery stall in Cebu City needs help replacing a cold-storage unit after floodwater.
🇵🇭 Philippines761 views
For three years I have run a small grocery stall in Cebu City. In September, floodwater took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $650 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $320
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $115
• Shop repairs and licensing: $85
• Working capital for the first month: $130
I hope life is good to you.

Updates from Nicole
Good news. Because of your gifts ($70 in total) I made the first payment toward initial stock: fresh produce. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely. - Nicole
Small update. $240 so far, I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts. - Nicole
Wanted to say thank you properly. 22% funded and I made the first payment toward initial stock: fresh produce.

Stay strong, Nicole. Hope you get there. God bless.
rooting for you, Nicole. Looking forward to the next update. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Thinking of you and your family, Nicole. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
