Help Hye-jin replace the transmission and return to work
Hye-jin drives for a living in Daegu, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my pickup. 6 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $550 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $105
• Labor charges: $220
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $225
I hope life is good to you.

sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Nairobi
Rooting for you, Hye-jin. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Manila donated after I showed her your page.
