Help Megan through 8 rounds of treatment for cervical cancer

Megan is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Megan was diagnosed with cervical cancer in July. The oncology team at Coventry Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Megan is 39, worked as a bakery worker until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Coventry Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $9,250 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $8,000 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $290 • Scans and lab work: $590 • Transport to Coventry Regional Medical Center: $370 Thank you for reading my story.

  • Best of luck. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Cardiff

    • keep going. Hope the doctors have good news. Sent it to 15 people at work.

      • Wishing you peace, Logan. Gave what I could, wish it was more. God bless.

        • Rooting for you, Logan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.

          • Hope things get better soon, Logan. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Mexicali so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
