Let's build a repair café workshop together in Lyon
Volunteers in Lyon are raising $900 for a repair café workshop at Lotus Park.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $900.
It will serve about 585 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $900 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $230
• Permits and inspections: $340
• Tools hire and delivery: $330
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
