In August I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. My surgeon at Saint Matthew Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for November. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $9,250, and after what our health plan will pay, I'm still $6,850 short.
Doctors at Saint Matthew Hospital told me a benign brain tumor will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. I work as a seamstress, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $9,250 is far beyond what I've.
