In February I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. My surgeon at East London General Hospital recommended gallbladder removal, and I have been placed on the schedule for April. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $2,050, and after what my employer's plan will pay, I'm still $1,550 short.
Doctors at East London General Hospital told me a benign brain tumor will get worse without gallbladder removal. I work as a school bus driver, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $2,050 is far beyond what I've.
