Heating shut-off notice: help Johanna pay $550
A disconnection notice for heating arrived and Johanna needs $550 before September.

The heating account is 4 months behind. Johanna received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless $550 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in July.
Johanna called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $105 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Johanna is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.

is gas arrears the biggest cost or is there more coming?
