Help Heather through 12 rounds of treatment for prostate cancer
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Calgary Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Heather was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August. The oncology team at Calgary Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Heather is 26, worked as a primary school teacher until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Calgary Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $8,250 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $880
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,350
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,450
• Transport to Calgary Cancer Centre: $570
