Harold is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at Birmingham State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,500.
The registrar has said Harold can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Harold has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Harold would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Harold isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $110
• Exam and lab fees: $100
• Final term tuition: $1,290
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Put this on a community board in San Jose this morning. Take care.
take care, Aaliyah. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
Stay strong. Study hard! After 27 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Hubballi.
Praying for you. Study hard! Greetings from Córdoba.
So sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Córdoba.
