Surgery fund for Fen: septoplasty in Surrey
Fen needs septoplasty at Saint Elizabeth Hospital and the family is $7,250 short of the hospital's estimate.

Fen was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in March. The surgeon at Saint Elizabeth Hospital recommended septoplasty, and She is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $12,000, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $7,250 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Saint Elizabeth Hospital since March. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $12,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Fen struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Fen won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.

• Hospital stay (5 nights): $2,300
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $440
• Post-operative medication: $380
• Physiotherapy sessions: $650

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Fen.
Surgeon and anesthesia fees is $3,300 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page.
