10 rounds of treatment are planned at the Kolkata Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Dinesh was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in April. The oncology team at the Kolkata Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Dinesh is 28, worked as a bus conductor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Kolkata Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $660
• Scans and lab work: $150
• Transport to the Kolkata Oncology Institute: $65
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $95
• Household costs while unable to work: $130
