Help Dina move out of an unsafe apartment this Thursday
Dina has found a safe new apartment in Mohammedia and needs help moving heavy furniture on Thursday.

After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Mohammedia, and the lease starts on Thursday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.

keep going. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I'll check back for the next update. All the best
Sending good thoughts. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care!
sending good thoughts. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Mohammedia.

Hang in there. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Lagos this morning. God bless
