ACL reconstruction for Charmaine: covering what insurance won't

Charmaine was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in August. The surgeon at Iloilo City University Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,000, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,200 short. my mother has been in and out of Iloilo City University Hospital since August. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,000 is more than we can find. While we wait, Charmaine struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift.
