Help Naledi through 6 rounds of treatment for cervical cancer
Supporting Naledi through cervical cancer: medication, transport to Ekurhuleni University Hospital, and living costs while She can't work.
🇿🇦 South Africa1,373 views
Naledi was diagnosed with cervical cancer in December. The oncology team at Ekurhuleni University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Naledi is 55, worked as a nurse until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ekurhuleni University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $850
• Household costs while unable to work: $500
• Scans and lab work: $300
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you, Nomsa. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My husband and I read this together. Blessings.
Hope you get there. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too
