Legal fees for Ömer's residency renewal in Bornova
Help Ömer cover the fees of a residency renewal so He can stay with his family.
🇹🇷 Bornova, İzmir, Türkiye216 views
Ömer is facing a residency renewal. The hearing is scheduled for June, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $850. Three legal-aid offices have said their waiting lists are longer than the deadline.
Ömer has all the paperwork ready, and a caseworker at a local immigrant rights clinic has confirmed that the case is valid.
If the deadline is missed Ömer could lose the right to stay with the family and the job. The children were born here and this is the only home they know.
Funds cover only the filing fees, translations and attorney retainer.
Where the $850 goes:
• Attorney retainer: $680
• Filing and biometrics fees: $135
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $35
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
