Beau is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at Newcastle upon Tyne State College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,550.
The registrar has said Beau can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Beau has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Beau would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Beau isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $4,550 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,950
• Final term tuition: $2,300
• Exam and lab fees: $175
• Textbooks and materials: $125
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Good luck, Natalie. Study hard! Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
