Help Orhan restart a bicycle repair shop in Augsburg after floodwater
A bicycle repair shop in Augsburg needs help replacing a full set of tools after floodwater.
🇩🇪 Germany1,038 views
For three years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Augsburg. In March, floodwater took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $550
• Shop repairs and licensing: $390
• Replacing a full set of tools: $810
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Orhan?
Thank you. If you're in Augsburg I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. It helps to be asked.
thinking of you and your family, Orhan. Shared it with a few friends. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.
Wishing you peace. Gave what I could, wish it was more. It's not much but it's yours. Take care.
