Help Beatrice with work-permit appeal filing and attorney fees
Beatrice needs $3,150 for filing fees and representation in a work-permit appeal before the October deadline.

Beatrice is facing a work-permit appeal. The hearing is scheduled for October, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $3,150. Three legal-aid offices have said their waiting lists are longer than the deadline.
Beatrice has all the paperwork ready, and a caseworker at a local immigrant rights clinic has confirmed that the case is valid.
If the deadline is missed Beatrice could lose the right to stay with the family and the job. The children were born here and this is the only home they know.
The money goes to the immigration attorney's trust account and the court filing office. I'll upload receipts with sensitive details removed.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• Attorney retainer: $2,500
• Filing and biometrics fees: $390
• Certified translations and document copies: $185
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $75
Glad we found this place.

How is Beatrice doing now?
Hope things get better soon. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Duque de Caxias.
Thinking of you, Luigi. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Girona.
Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
Sending strength, Luigi. Hope you get there. All the best.
