Accra
Abena is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at the Accra Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600. The registrar has said Abena can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Abena has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Abena would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Abena isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Accra Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $600 goes: • Final term tuition: $310 • Outstanding tuition balance: $250 • Textbooks and materials: $40 Thank you so much.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Abena.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. final term tuition comes first ($310) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
