Help Oky keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
Oky runs a volunteer pantry feeding 286 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Monday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 27 families, and now we feed 286 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 45% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Surakarta market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $550 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $80
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $350
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $120

Quick update: $50 raised so far (9%). I made the first payment toward baby formula and diapers. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
