Surgery fund for Damian: a craniotomy in Warsaw
A scheduled a craniotomy in November is out of reach without help covering $1,350 of the cost.

In August I was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair. My surgeon at Warsaw Regional Medical Center recommended a craniotomy, and I have been placed on the schedule for November. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $2,700, and after what the public health scheme will pay, I'm still $1,350 short.
Doctors at Warsaw Regional Medical Center told me a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without a craniotomy. I work as a taxi driver, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $2,700 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a taxi driver have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 5 weeks. I'll not be able to work a full shift during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.

what's already covered and what's the $1,350 for?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. physiotherapy sessions comes first ($250) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
