Hamisi needs an espresso machine and grinder to reopen a roadside café
Hamisi lost an espresso machine and grinder to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $500 to reopen a roadside café and support the family.

For four years I have run a roadside café in Kinondoni. In March, a storm that collapsed the roof took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $70
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $360
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $70
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thinking of you, Hamisi. Small businesses are the heart of Kinondoni. Hope you're open again soon. We're a small family in Khulna but we're thinking of you.
