Get Lucía back on the road: my delivery van repair fund
Without my delivery van Lucía can't work; a $450 repair would put her back on the road.
🇲🇽 Ciudad de México, Mexico1,789 views
I make my living with my delivery van. 5 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $450. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $450 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $280
• Labor charges: $95
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $45
• Towing and inspection: $30
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

small businesses are the heart of Ciudad de México. Hope you're open again soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
Hope you get there. Love from Thika.
Keep going, Lucía. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Addis Ababa.
