Back to business - Vaishali's comeback in Thane
A phone repair counter in Thane needs help replacing a soldering station and testing tools after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For four years I have run a phone repair counter in Thane. In February, a storm that collapsed the roof took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $300 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $90
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $145
• Shop repairs and licensing: $65
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Vaishali.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. working capital for the first month comes first ($90) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. It helps to be asked.
Thinking of you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day
Rooting for you, Vaishali. Hope you get there. We're a small family in Abbottabad but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
