Get Emi back on the road: my taxi repair fund
Emi drives for a living in Shinjuku, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 10 weeks.

I make my living with my taxi. 10 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,000
• Towing and inspection: $75
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $175

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Emi
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. fuel pump replacement (parts) comes first ($1,000) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
