I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 5 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $250 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $170 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $45 • Towing and inspection: $35 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Updates from Damilola

  • Hang in there, Damilola. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double

    • I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Lagos.
