Standing with Mark: a rare sarcoma treatment costs

Mark was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in October. The oncology team at Manila Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Mark is 41, worked as a primary school teacher until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Manila Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
