A community fridge for the Harmony health centre yard: help our neighbors in Lagos
A community-led a community fridge at the Harmony health centre yard that will serve 334 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $75, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 334 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $380
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
