Funeral costs for Yan's grandfather, Yu
Yan lost his grandfather suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $4,700.

Yu, my grandfather, passed away on 21 September after a short illness. He was 80 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 7 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Yu to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Buffalo hospice.

• Funeral home services and casket: $2,500
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,200
• Transport of the deceased: $600
• Memorial gathering for the family: $400
