Ángel was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in September. The oncology team at Santa Fe University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Ángel is 24, worked as a bank teller until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Santa Fe University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
