Funeral costs for Ruth's father, Dereje
Ruth lost her father suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $600.

Dereje, my father, passed away on 26 June after a stroke. He was 90 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 6 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Dereje to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $600 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $430
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $115
• Transport of the deceased: $35
• Memorial gathering for the family: $20
