Fighting stage 2 breast cancer: help Arthur afford treatment in Petrópolis
Arthur is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Arthur was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at Petrópolis Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Arthur is 57, worked as a nurse until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Petrópolis Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Transport to Petrópolis Regional Medical Center: $220
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,450
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $240
• Scans and lab work: $240
