Looking for a software testing mentor: Odhiambo's career change at 45
Seeking an experienced software testing professional for guidance on the transition from hospitality worker.
🇰🇪 Kenya1,266 views
I have worked as a hospitality worker for 15 years, and I'm 45. After being laid off, I decided to move into software testing, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my capstone project, a realistic view of the job market in Nairobi, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
I hope life is good to you.
