4 rounds of treatment are planned at Albuquerque University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Wendy was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Albuquerque University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Wendy is 33, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Albuquerque University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $6,800 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,450 • Scans and lab work: $930 • Transport to Albuquerque University Hospital: $580 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $470 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,370 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
