An English writing tutor for Umar, 15, who's falling behind
Umar is working hard on English writing but can't afford a tutor; 1 hours a week until the GCSE would help enormously.

My nephew, Umar, is 15 and in Grade 11. Umar loves school but English writing has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The GCSE exam is in October.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Jakarta or online, for about ten weeks.
Umar is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in English writing, you could change the course of Umar's year.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hope things get better soon, Imam. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Best of luck, Imam. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Blessings.
You're not alone. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Naples
