Build a wheelchair ramp for Shelly-Ann in Kingston

Shelly-Ann uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Shelly-Ann has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Shelly-Ann can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Shelly-Ann's family will cook lunch for the team. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
