Gaya
Manoj was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in May. The oncology team at Gaya University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Manoj is 42, worked as a bakery worker until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Gaya University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $800 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $105 • Transport to Gaya University Hospital: $80 • Scans and lab work: $250 • Household costs while unable to work: $365 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Divya
